Identity Theft / Fraud National Australia Bank – Adelaide
07/02TV – Adelaide Police are seeking your assistance to identify a man who has committed identity theft and attempted fraud on June 6 2007. A man entered the National Australia Bank on Hutt Street Adelaide and presented a cheque and drivers licence. Quick thinking by staff established that the person in the drivers licence was still interstate. The offender had stolen his licence and tried to steal money from a company bank account. Once bank staff became suspicious he left empty handed, leaving behind the drivers licence and cheque. He is described as late 40’s – mid 50’s, dark short wavy hair, clean shaven, medium build and smartly dressed. Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
