Aggravated Robbery – Midway Tavern Elizabeth Downs (19-57)

                                            

At about 8.35 am on Sunday, 30th June,2019, a lone male (pictured) has entered the Gaming room of the Midway Tavern, 212 Midway Road, Elizabeth Downs.  The male has loitered in the Gaming Room until 8.48 am, when he has then pulled a bandana over his face, removed a baseball bat from his clothing and demanded money from staff at the Gaming Room counter.  He was handed cash, which was placed into a black backpack with the word “Boystown” printed on it.  The male left the Gaming Room with a small amount of money.  He left the hotel on a predominately white mountain bike that had distinguishing carrying panniers attached to the frame.

The male is described as:  late twenties to early thirties, 170-175 cm (5’7″-5’9″), slim build, Caucasian, Australian accent, blue eyes and has a gaunt face, wearing a black beanie, a grey hooded jacket with black sleeves with a black hooded top underneath the jacket with the hood pulled up, black pants, black and white beach shoes and cream coloured gloves which had dark coloured palms.  He was carrying a black backpack with the word “Boystown” printed on it.  He was armed with a black/red baseball bat.
