Armed Hold-Up – Smithfield

07/08TV – Investigators are seeking your help to identify a man who terrorised staff and patrons during an Armed Robbery at the Smithfield Hotel on February 8 2007. A man entered the Hotel with a sawn off rifle, threatening staff and patrons. He demanded money from staff who refused. They ran into another office. The offender then left empty handed. The man is described as 20-30 years, 175cm tall, heavy build, calm clear voice with no accent, wearing a black long sleeve hooded top with wide stripes down the sleeves, blue pants / jeans, white sandshoes and gloves. The offender had a black hood and white bandana drawn over his face. Anyone with information is asked to contact Bank SA Crime Stoppers.
