14-119 Aggravated Robbery – Para Hills

Police need help to identify a male who assaulted then stole a phone from the victim on Jennier Crescent, Para Hills.

At about 11.50 pm on Wednesday, 10th September, 2014 the victim was walking along Bridge Road passed the On The Run Service Station at Para Hills.  The victim observed an old white vehicle pull in and park in the service station facing Pamela Drive.  This vehicle had two males seated in the front seats and a female sitting in the rear passenger seat.  The victim walked passed the vehicle and continued walking and turned into Jennier Crescent, Para Hills.  The vehicle then followed the victim and a male got out of the vehicle.  The victim thought this was suspicious and began to run.  The victim then saw the male chasing them and yelling at them, "Give me your phone".  The male, who is pictured above in a facial computer image, caught up with the victim, who began to yell for help.  The male then hit the victim in the left side of their face causing the victim to fall to the ground.  The victim’s phone fell out of their pocket and the male jumped over the victim and took the phone and ran towards Maxwell Road.  The vehicle then drove passed the victim who believes the male got into this vehicle.

The male is described as:  6′ (182 cm), fair skin, possibly of middle eastern appearance, oval shaped face, very large eyes, with short curly hair, wearing dark trackpants and a white round neck t-shirt with horizontal stripes.
