Attempt Aggravated Robbery – Coles Express Kilburn (18-09)
At about 11.18 pm on Tuesday, 7th February 2017, a lone female console operator was working at Coles Express at 320 Churchill Road, Kilburn. The glass doors were unlocked for approximately one minute while the operator mopped the floors. During this time a male suspect entered the store and threatened the console operator with a tyre wrench stating “open your till and hand over your money”. The console operator refused to open the till and told the male to leave, which he did.
The male is described as: 30-35 years, 175cm (5’9″), stocky build, Caucasian with no visible tattoos, wearing a green high-visibility elbow length shirt with a navy lower half, orange shorts, blue sneakers and black gardening gloves. He had another green high-visibility shirt wrapped around his head with a blue cap worn backwards. He was carrying a yellow high-visibility backpack.
