Rewards up to $200,000 will be paid by the Government of South Australia, at the discretion of the Commissioner of Police, to anyone who provides information and assistance that leads to the conviction of the person or persons responsible for the suspected murder of  Pellegrino (Rino) Anthony Villani.

On the evening of 17 November 1990 Pellegrino “Rino” Villani, age 29 years, attended a wedding at the Enfield Hotel with his fiancÌ©.They left the hotel at about 11.30 p.m. and Mr Villani drove to Portrush Road, where his fiancÌ© caught a taxi the rest of the way home. Mr Villani drove to his house at Jervois Avenue, Magill, arriving home just before midnight. When he got out of his car to he was shot by an unknown assailant who is believed to have been waiting for him. He collapsed on the footpath and died.
