15-146 Assault Cause Harm – Enigma Bar

At about 1.00 am on Saturday, 8 November 2014, the victim was at the Enigma Bar in company with some friends to see a band perform. The victim was in the mosh pit near the upper level bar when he was accidentally shoved into the suspect. The suspect grabbed the victim’s beanie from his head and threw it to the ground. The victim confronted the suspect and asked for his beanie back. The conversation went for about a minute when the suspect head butted the victim, connecting and causing the victim to start bleeding from the nose. The victim sustained a left nasal bone fracture with right nasal bone displacement which will require surgery.

The suspect is a Caucasian male, early 20’s, with fair skin and black medium length hair. He was wearing a black T-shirt and black jeans at the time.
