Missing Presumed Murdered

 

On 21 April 2018, Scott Redman, aged 18 years, was involved in a short police pursuit east of Kimba in company with a friend, Damien Kennedy. The pursuit was called off with the vehicle last seen travelling west about two kilometres east of Kimba.

On 23 April 2018, Kennedy was located disorientated and dehydrated walking east along Middleback Road, Middleback Ranges by a passing motorist and conveyed to Whyalla.

Kennedy stated that he had become separated from Redman after their vehicle ran out of petrol.

The vehicle the pair was travelling in was located on a service road off Middleback Road about 40 kilometres east of Kimba on Wednesday 25 April 2018.

Numerous searches conducted in and around the area have failed to locate Redman or any evidence related to him. Police suspect he has been murdered.
