Missing Presumed Murdered
Tanja Ebert, aged 23 years, was reported missing by her husband Michael Burdon, 41 years and his sister on Friday 10 August 2017. Tanja was reported missing two days after the last confirmed sighting on Tuesday 8 August 2017. The couple and their two children lived on a remote farming property at Oulnina Park Station at Manna Hill. On Monday 7 August 2017, the family travelled to Adelaide for an overnight stay. The Tanja and her husband were captured on CCTV at a Roseworthy service station at about 4.45 p.m. on Tuesday 8 August 2017.
Tanja’s disappearance remains unsolved and her current whereabouts are unknown.
Police suspect she has been murdered.
Burdon is the only suspect, however he fatally shot himself at the couple’s property on Thursday 16 August 2017, whilst police were present making inquiries into his wife’s disappearance.
Major Crime investigators believe there are people in the community who know exactly what happened to Tanja.
