Murder
Graham Nixon, aged 33 years, Sinibaldo Palombi, aged 35 years, and Hubert Western, aged 32 years, all died from gunshot wounds received on 8 October 1999. All three were members of the Rebels OMCG..
All three had attended at the Rebels Clubrooms on Wright Street, Adelaide after an incident between Rebels members and Hells Angels OMCG members earlier that evening on Rundle Street, Adelaide.
At about 2.00 a.m. on Friday 8 October 1999, three men believed to be linked with the Hells Angels arrived at the Rebels Clubrooms in Wright Street Adelaide. A number of Rebels members were outside at this time and were joined soon after by further members who had emerged from within the clubrooms. Two of the three Hells Angels members produced firearms and shot at the Rebels, resulting in five Rebels members being shot. Mr Nixon and Mr Palombi died at the scene and Mr Western died in hospital on 11 October 1999.
Two Hells Angels members were subsequently arrested, however the charges were withdrawn due to non-cooperation by members of the Rebels.
