9News Adelaide renews crime-solving collaboration

Posted on 24/10/2024

Crime Stoppers South Australia (CSSA) is pleased to announce the renewal of its long-standing partnership with 9News Adelaide for another 3-year period, marking more than 13 years of collaboration with Adelaide’s leading news team.

CSSA Chair, Phil Vincent, said the continued support from 9News Adelaide will allow Crime Stoppers to maintain a strong media presence through weekly unsolved crime segments, news stories and community service announcements that shine a spotlight on unsolved crimes and promote crime awareness initiatives.

“We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing partnership with 9News Adelaide. Their support over so many years has been crucial in helping us connect with the community and encourage people to share information about unsolved crime and suspicious behaviour anonymously. Extension of our partnership means we can continue our important work and help make South Australia a safer place,” Mr Vincent said.

Sean O’Brien, Managing Director of 9News Adelaide, said the station remained firmly committed to supporting Crime Stoppers SA and the broader South Australian community.

“The 9News Adelaide team takes its responsibility to the South Australian public very seriously. Our partnership with Crime Stoppers SA is one of the ways we give back and we are proud to be part of such a meaningful initiative that contributes to a safer, stronger state,” Mr O’Brien said.

“We look forward to continuing this important collaboration and helping Crime Stoppers achieve even greater success in the years ahead.”
