Aggravated assault – Ingle Farm

Crime Stoppers is seeking information about an alleged assault on an elderly man at Ingle Farm in late 2024.

At around 5.45am on Tuesday, 5 November 2024, an 81-year-old man drove into a carpark on Roopena Street, Ingle Farm. As he entered the area, he saw a man standing in the middle of the road.

After parking his car and getting out, the elderly driver was verbally abused by the unknown man, who was walking a three-legged dog.

When the victim attempted to pat the dog, the suspect pushed him, causing the man to fall backwards and sustain a back injury.

The suspect is described as:

  • Caucasian male, believed to be in his late 20s to early 30s
  • Wearing a grey jumper with an ‘LA’ logo on the front
  • Also wearing dark grey pants and a grey beanie
  • Seen walking with a three-legged dog
