Aggravated Robbery – Midway Tavern, Elizabeth Downs

A renewed appeal has been made to help identify a male who robbed the gaming room of the Midway Tavern in June 2019.
On the morning of Sunday, 30th June 2019, a male entered the gaming room of the Midway Tavern at 212 Midway Road, Elizabeth Downs.
He remained in the gaming room for an extended period before committing the robbery, with his face was captured on CCTV.
The male pulled a bandana over his face, removed a baseball bat from his clothing and demanded money from staff.
He was handed cash, which was placed into a black backpack with the word “Boystown” printed on it.
He was last seen riding away from the Tavern on a white mountain bike.
The male is described as Caucasian, aged in his thirties, approximately 170cms tall, with a slim build. He spoke with an Australian accent.
At the time he was wearing a black beanie, dark clothing, black and white beach shoes and cream coloured gloves which had dark coloured palms. He was carrying a black backpack with the word “Boystown” printed on it. He was armed with a black/red baseball bat.
