Aggravated Robbery – Newton

At 11.56pm on Monday, 21st August 2023, four suspects entered a service station at Newton.

The suspects approached the front counter and asked for cigarettes. When the attendant refused, two suspects produced large knives.

Three of the suspects jumped over the counter and asked the attendant to open the door containing cigarettes.

The attendant obliged and one suspect removed a quantity of cigarettes and another removed the empty till.

The four suspects eventually left the scene.

The suspects are described as:

Suspect 1: Lean build, Caucasian, wearing a black hooded jumper and had a bandana over the bottom part of their face.
Suspect 2: Stocky build, Caucasian, wearing a black jumper and pants, the hood of the jumper tightly wrapped around their face.
Suspect 3: Was wearing all black clothing and a bandana around their face.
Suspect 4: Lean build, African appearance, wearing all black clothing with a bandana around their face and carrying a red back pack.
