Posted on 20/05/2025

Can you help identify a person linked to a suspicious fire at Clarence Park?

Crime Stoppers is asking for help to identify a person wanted in connection with a suspicious fire that damaged a ground-floor unit in Clarence Park.

Emergency crews were called to Margaret Street just after 10.40pm on Friday, 27 December 2024, following reports of a fire.

When firefighters arrived, the unoccupied unit was fully engulfed in flames. While the interior of the unit was destroyed, adjoining units only sustained minor smoke damage.

Fire cause investigators examined the scene and the fire is being treated as suspicious.

Anyone who recognises the person in the CCTV footage, saw any suspicious activity in the area that night, or has CCTV or dashcam footage from around the time of the incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers. You can share what you know online at https://crimestopperssa.com.au or call 1800 333 000. Information can be provided anonymously, and rewards may be available.
