Arson – Prospect

At about 7.30am on 31st December 2022, a man was seen to interfere with a rubbish bin which was situated outside a business on Main North Road Prospect. As he rode away on a silver coloured three wheeled mobility scooter, fire was seen to be coming out of the bin. The rubbish bin was destroyed causing approximately $1500 worth of damage but with the potential of causing nearly a million dollars should the building have caught fire.

The man is described as being Caucasian, approximately 70-75 years of age, slim to medium build with a full brown/grey facial beard approximately 2 inches thick. He was wearing glasses with dark frames, a dark baseball cap, black open zipped jacket, grey/white patterned pants with brown shoes.
