Assault and Criminal Damage, Hindmarsh

Posted on 15/08/2023

At 3.30pm on Saturday, 25th March 2023, the victim attended the Hindmarsh library at 139 Port Road, Hindmarsh.

When the victim left the library to walk back to his vehicle, he passed by and spoke to a male.

Once in his car, the same male approached the victim in his vehicle.

The victim spoke to the male through an open window and was asked for a cigarette.

When the suspect was told by the victim that he didn’t have any, the suspect punched the victim repeatedly to the shoulder and face causing injuries, and then spat in the face of the victim.

As the victim attempted to reverse out of his parking space and leave the car park, the suspect has repeatedly kicked and hit his vehicle, causing about $2500 worth of damage.
