Assault and robbery at Old Reynella

At around 4pm on Tuesday, 19 November 2024, a man was waiting at bus stop 44A on the western side of Panalatinga Road at Old Reynella when he was approached by another man riding a BMX bike.

Without warning, the offender punched the victim in the face and stole his Samsung Galaxy Fold 3 mobile phone. He then rode off south along Panalatinga Road.

The victim sustained minor facial injuries and was left shaken by the unprovoked attack.

The suspect is described as:

  • Male, aged in his 30s

  • Australian accent

  • Crooked teeth

  • Tanned skin

  • At the time he was wearing a hi-vis green t-shirt, beige shorts and a black and white helmet

He was riding a distinctive BMX bike with thick tyres, axle pegs and gears.
