Gepps Cross Drive-In ATM theft and arson

CCTV vision of the ram-raid and fire that damaged the Gepps Cross Drive-in has been released as part of a renewed appeal to the public for information.

Just after 1.35am, Wednesday 29 March 201

7, emergency crews responded to a suspicious building fire at the Drive-in Theatre on Main North Road.

Prior to the fire, CCTV vision shows two masked men in a stolen Ford ute ram the front doors of the building before stealing an ATM from inside.

At about 2.30am, the stolen car was found set alight on Eastern Parade at Ottoway, with the ATM located in the rear tray of the ute.
