Serious criminal trespass and theft – Barossa Valley

Posted on 25/05/2026

At 6.15am on Sunday, 1 March 2026, a white Toyota Hilux was seen at a business break-in on Melrose Street, Mount Pleasant where two men forced entry to a motorcycle shop and stole clothing and accessories.

Police believe the same vehicle was seen about 5.30am that same morning at a church in Nuriootpa. At the time, it was in company with a second vehicle, a grey Toyota Hilux, which was used to gain entry to a shed and storage container.

A grey Toyota Hilux was reported stolen from a Gawler South address prior to the incident and was found burnt at about 6am in Angaston.

One of the male suspects was wearing a motorcycle helmet, a blue and fluoro yellow jacket, with blue jeans and black shoes. The other male appears to be wearing light coloured long pants and a dark hooded top with the hood up.

If you have any CCTV or dashcam footage around the time of the break-ins or any other information that may assist, please anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at https://crimestopperssa.com.au or call 1800 333 000. Please quote reference 26-016TV.
