Serious Criminal Trespass and theft – Newton

Can you help identify a male recently caught on CCTV footage breaking into a Newton restaurant?

Between 5.40am and 7.30am on Wednesday, 21 August 2024, a restaurant on Montacute Road was broken into and property was stolen, including cash and electronics.

CCTV footage shows the unknown man in the rear room of the business and your help is needed to identify him.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 20’s, with a medium build. At the time he was wearing a grey jumper with N symbol in the top right corner, light coloured trackpants and light-coloured sneakers. He was also wearing black sunglasses on his head and had a chain around his neck. He appears to have tattoos on both of his hands.
