Posted on 30/05/2020

At about 3am on Sunday 30 May 2004 Steven Hydon, aged 31 years, was fatally shot outside the Weeroona Hotel, John Terrace Wallaroo.

Mr Hydon was a full member of the Gypsy Joker Motor Cycle Club and was participating in a club event at the time of his murder.

Two males were arrested the following morning and charged with this murder. They were tried in the Supreme Court of South Australia in August of 2006, and subsequently acquitted by jury verdict.

A reward of up to $200,000 remains on offer for information that leads to a conviction in this case.
