Theft – Seaford

Police are investigating numerous copper thefts in the southern suburbs and have asked for help to identify a man recently caught on CCTV.

The man entered the grounds of a school on Grand Boulevard at Seaford between the hours of 12am and 12.30am on 24 January 2026. Police believe he may be able to assist in enquiries relating to the ongoing thefts.

The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, about 170cm tall, with a slim build and a thin face. At the time he was wearing a black baseball cap with what appears to be an Essendon football club logo, grey t-shirt with colourful drawing on the front, black shorts with a white logo on the left front leg, white socks and black shoes. He was also carrying a black backpack.
