Who killed Anne Roberts?
Posted on 16/09/2019
The brutal murder of Anne Roberts remains one of SA’s oldest murder mysteries – and 40 years on her killer or killers remain at large.
The 20-year old was found murdered in her flat at Emerson Road, Blackforest on 16 September 1979.
What is known is that she had returned home from a night out in the city.
She died as a result of head injuries sustained by a brick.
That brick was placed back into its position in the car park of the flats, possibly suggesting a spontaneous attack.
She had also been sexually assaulted prior to her death.
A reward of up to $200,000 remains on offer to anyone who provides information leading to a conviction in the case.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or at crimestopperssa.com.au
