Aggravated Robbery – Glynde Hotel (21-60)

At about 1.11 am on Friday, 3rd January, 2020, the two pictured males, both dressed in dark clothing with their faces covered, entered the Glynde Hotel, at 492 Payneham Road, Glynde, one armed with a small wooden handled axe and the other armed with a sawn off shotgun.  The male armed with the axe jumped the Gaming Room bar, whilst the male armed with the shotgun aimed it at patrons and staff.  The male armed with the axe took two till from both registers.  The males left the Gaming Room via the sliding entrance doors before entering a dark coloured dual cab utility.

The males are described as:

  • Male armed with the shotgun – 175 cm (5’9″), wearing all black clothing, black Nike shoes with white swoops and a balaclava
  • Male armed with the axe – dark/tanned skin and possible tattoo on mid forearm, wearing dark grey/faded black jumper with a large motif on the chest and appeared to have a black hoodie underneath with a hood overhead, black gloves with rubber palms and safety markings and carrying a satchel with one strap dark in colour with lime green/blue piping with a velcro strip visible between his shoulder blades and a face mask or scarf in dark black/navy blue filigree pattern
