14-90 Arson – Woodville South

Police need help to identify a person who set alight a motor vehicle at Woodville South.

At about 4.38 am on Monday, 26th May, 2014 an Audi Q5 SUV vehicle was left parked in the driveway of a home at Woodville South. An unknown person has approached the vehicle and poured an accelerant over the roof, before using a flare to ignite the vehicle, which was destroyed by the resulting fire. The person was seen to flee from the scene on foot with his shoes or lower trouser legs on fire.

The person is described as: Believed to be a male, stocky build and has a ‘macho’ type swagger, wearing a hooded top (possibly red), dark baggy trackpants, dark gloves and possibly has something covering their face.
