Aggravated Attempt Robbery – Brodie Road – Huntfield Heights
09/26TV – Police need help to identify a male who attempted to steal a vehicle on Brodie Road HUNTFIELD HEIGHTS. At 1.30pm on Friday 15 May 2009 the victim had just turned from Honeypot Road onto Brodie Road when noticed that something was loose on the trailer that was being towed. Victim stopped vehicle, left car running with keys in the ignition. The victim noticed a man approach the drivers side door and was about to get in. The victim challenged the man who produced a knife and directed it towards the victim before running off. This person is described as male, Caucasian, early 30’s, approximately 178cm tall with collar length brown hair. At the time he was wearing a black billabong beanie, blue jeans, red tracksuit top and white sneakers. He had distinctive dark, sunken eyes as though he was under the influence of drugs. The victim has been able to compile a computer facial image of this man. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
