Aggravated Robbery – Brompton (19-59)

                          

At about 2.45 am on Saturday, 10th November, 2018, the victim, a taxi driver, collected three males from Glenelg and conveyed them to Mann Drive, Brompton.  Once in Mann Drive, Brompton the taxi driver was assaulted by the passengers, especially the front passenger (pictured).  The front passenger assaulted the taxi driver by hitting him to the head with a closed fist, then searched the taxi driver’s pockets demanding money.  All three males left the taxi after stealing the money.  The taxi driver suffered slight bruising.

The males are described as:

  • Front Passenger (Main Suspect) – Male, late twenties, 6 foot (182 cm), approximately 100 kg, large heavy build, tanned skin, Tongan appearance, shaved head on the sides with a mowhawk and has an unshaven beard, wearing a collared white t-shirt, blue denim shorts and black baseball cap.  He has tattoos of Celtic writing on his right forearm and a tattoo on the left side of his neck.
  • Rear Passenger (Seated Behind Suspect) – Male, late twenties, 6 foot (182 cm), thin/skinny build, tanned skin and Tongan appearance, wearing a grey t-shirt and blue pants
  • Rear Passenger (Seated Behind Driver) – Male, late twenties, over 6 foot (182 cm plus), muscular build, tanned skin, Tongan appearance and has a shaved head, wearing Nike collared t-shirt, bucket hat and jeans
