Aggravated Robbery – Lonsdale Hotel

At about 3.15am on 14th March 2020, two males, one armed with a sawn off rifle entered the gaming room of the Lonsdale Hotel. The armed male controlled the patrons making them all lay on the ground whilst the other male threatened to punch staff as he demanded money and to be shown to the safe. Staff pointed him to cash in the till which he removed, he then searched cupboards where he located more cash. Both males then left the gaming room and it is believed they have driven from the scene in a dark coloured Holden Caprice east on Sherriffs Road and then south on the Southern Expressway.

The first male is approximately 175 – 180cm tall, wearing black covering all parts of his body other than his eyes.

The second male is approximately 185cm tall, wearing black covering all parts of his body other than his eyes.
