Unprovoked Assault – Elizabeth Hotel – Elizabeth

09/03TV – Police nee help to identify a male who committed an unprovoked and vicious attack on a security guard. At about 8.50pm on Wednesday June 4 2008 a Crowd Controller at the Elizabeth Tavern was assaulted by a patron. The Security Guard and the attacker were talking with two others when ‘out of the blue’ the guard was struck in the side of the head by the male before being hit a second time with the glass he was holding. This attack was captured on CCTV in the smoking area of the Hotel. The assailant is described as male, late 30’s, dark complexion, 170cms tall, slim build, short dark hair with stubble on his face and a tattoo (writing) on the side of his neck. At the time he was wearing a dark coloured short sleeved t-shirt and dark tracksuit pants with a light stripe or stripes down the side.
