Aggravated Serious Criminal Trespass – Modbury

At 3.24am on Thursday, 24th November 2022, CCTV recorded a male (suspect 1) knocking on the door of a Modbury home before leaving the address. The premises had been broken into the previous evening and items were stolen including the victims’ vehicle, which has been subsequently located.

At 4.16am on the same date a second person (suspect 2) was also caught on CCTV approaching the front door of the same home with a crow bar in hand. He is seen to attempt to jemmy open the front door. Suspect 1 then runs up to the door and forces it open by ramming it with his shoulder, but does not appear to enter the home. Suspect 2 enters the home for a short time.

No one was home at the time and nothing was stolen.

The pair are described as:
Suspect 1: Male, curly short hair, beard, with a medium build. At the time he was wearing dark tracksuit pants, zip up hooded dark coloured jacket with white on edge of zip, sandshoes.
Suspect 2: Possibly male, wearing an Adidas hoodie, cap with circular emblem on the peak, tracksuit pants, Nike air max 97 black/white shoes.
