Robbery at Walkerville

Just after 1.30am on Friday, 8 May 2025 a man entered the gaming room of a hotel on Stephen Terrace, Walkerville and threatened staff with a machete before stealing cash.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
The suspect was seen fleeing the scene in a stolen white Mitsubishi ASX which was later found abandoned.
The suspect is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall with a heavy build. At the time he was wearing a black face covering, a dark coloured hooded jacket, grey track pants, white sneakers and tan gardening gloves. He was carrying a green bucket.
