About 12.20pm on Friday, 25 October 2024, an 84-year-old woman was walking south on Thanet Street when she was approached from behind by an unknown man riding a bike. As the man rode past, he grabbed the woman’s shopping bag, pulling her to the ground.

While the woman was on the ground, the suspect turned back around and stole her property. She sustained minor injuries in the incident.

The male suspect was last seen riding towards Henley Beach Road and then north on Holbrooks Road, Underdale.

He is described as Caucasian, about 50 years old with tattoos on his left arm and possibly a tattoo on his lower right arm. At the time, he was wearing a blue striped shirt and black pants. He was riding a black Merida bike with different rims on the front and back.
