Serious Criminal Trespass and Theft – Prospect

Just after 8am on Thursday, 22 February 2024, police were called to a home on Marian Place after reports a man had broken in and stole property from inside, including back packs and jewellery.

 The occupant was home at the time of the break in and confronted the intruder, but wasn’t physically injured.

 The male then fled and was last seen running down the driveway of the home.

 Patrols searched the area but were unable to locate him .

The suspect is described as Aboriginal in appearance, aged in his early 20’s, 170cm tall, with a medium-broad build, short dark hair and his left eyelid was droopy. At the time he was wearing a blue t-shirt, red pants and a grey coloured beanie.

 The male was later spotted on CCTV riding a bicycle, wearing black clothing and a purple cycling helmet.
