12-109 Aggravated Robbery – Clovercrest Shopping Centre

 

Police need help to identify these two males.

Between 9.55 pm and 10.05 pm on Sunday, 12th August, 2012, the male victim was walking through the carpark of the Clovercrest Shopping Centre when a white sedan, that appeared to be about ten years old, approached him.  The driver of the car spoke to the victim, who had approached the car.  The driver then got out of the car and was holding a kitchen knife about 10cm in length, whilst demanding the victim’s wallet.  The driver patted down the victim and demanded his mobile telephone.  The victim declined to hand over the phone and ran away.

The male is described as:  5’10” (177 cm), slim to medium build, Caucasian, short brown hair and clean shaven,    wearing a high visibility long sleeved top with yellow on the top half and dark blue/black on the bottom.

This male is believed to be in company with another male, who were seen together at the Clovercrest Hotel and he is described as:  Caucasian, wearing a dark coloured hooded top with the hood on.
