14-56 Aggravated Robbery – Bombay Bicycle Club

Police need help to identify a male who robbed the Bombay Bicycle Club at Ovingham.

At about 10.40 am on Monday, 29th July, 2013, the above male entered the gaming room of  the Bombay Bicycle Club at 29 Torrens Road, Ovingham and produced a firearm.  The male pointed it at the female employee and demanded cash before leaving.  The firearm was concealed in a laptop box which was left behind in the gaming room.  Current investigations indicate the laptop box was purchased from JB Hi-Fi at West Lakes.  The male is suspected to have been dropped near the vacinity of the Bombay Bicycle Club by someone driving a blue Mazda sedan, which is now a vehicle of interest in the investigation.

The male is described as:  late thirties, 165cm -175cm (5’5″-5’9″), stocky build and Caucasian, wearing a black knitted woollen beanie, dark hooded jacket and fluorescent orange vest over the jacket.
