Arson – Series of Fires – Craigmore

11-23    Police need help to locate a male person who has called 000 seeking assistance at Craigmore.

Between 3 – 5am on Thursday 3 February 2011 a series of fires were lit in and around the Craigmore area.  Brush fences, trees and wheelie bins were set alight with the potential for many thousands of dollars damage.

During this time a 000 call was received from a male who initially asked for assistance as he had been assaulted, he then stated that police and the fire brigade should attend at Craigmore Shopping Centre as there was a fire there.

Police would like to identify this person as he may have been assaulted and could be of assistance to police in the investigation of the fires that were lit in the area.

Anyone who may recognise the voice, or know the male, are asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
