Attempt Abduction – Surrey Downs
11-80 Police need help to identify a male who attempted to abduct a female at Surrey Downs.
At about 6.10 pm, on Thursday, 5th May, 2011, the female victim was walking through a reserve just off Golden Grove Rd, Surrey Downs, when she was grabbed from behind on both her arms by the male suspect. The victim kicked the male in the groin with her heel, turned to face him and punched him in the face, causing him to release her. The female victim then ran off.
He is described as: Male, 185 cm (6’1″), skinny but muscular build, Caucasian, with some facial hair under bottom lip and acne scarring to both sides of his face, wearing a black hooded jumper with white writing on the front and big black sunglasses.
