Assault at Bunnings Parafield

At about 7pm on 4 December 2024, a male entered the Bunnings store at Parafield and began to act aggressively towards a covert loss prevention officer, who was threatened with a hammer.

The male suspect was later seen walking through the store carrying a large knife but left before police arrived.

Nobody was physically injured and the knife was located later in the store.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, who was at the time wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts and shoes, and a red baseball cap. He also had a black back-pack on his back.
