Assault – Ingle Farm

Posted on 25/03/2026

At around 5:10pm on Friday 23 January 2026, a man was walking through the Ingle Farm Shopping Centre car park when he was approached by an unknown male wearing a surgical mask. After a brief exchange, the suspect demanded his phone and threatened him. The victim ran off, calling for help. He kept his phone and wasn’t physically hurt.

A short time later, a second victim reported that a man matching the same description tried to take money from him while he was at an ATM in the same shopping centre.

The suspect is described as a dark-skinned male, who was wearing a black baseball cap, black long-sleeved jacket, black pants and black shoes. At the time he was carrying a dark-coloured bag with a yellow stripe.

If you recognise this person or have any information, please anonymously contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online
